Open Position: Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Are YOU our new Marketing and Communications Coordinator?

Do you want to work somewhere you can really make a difference? We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative person to develop and oversee our educational and awareness raising campaigns focused on reducing substance abuse and increasing health and wellness.

In the past 10 years our small team of dedicated staff and volunteers has been working hard to reduce the causes and consequences of substance abuse in Burlington. We are excited to add someone new to our team who will be responsible for developing messaging and coordinating the marketing plan for two educational campaigns targeting parents and teens. We are looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience with PR and campaign development and coordination. The job requires creativity, attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences and partners. We are looking for someone with a highly self-driven sense of motivation.

Are you skilled with technology and social media? Responsibilities also include maintaining websites and social media pages. Must have a minimum of one year experience working on a marketing campaign. Prior experience working in the health promotion and prevention field is beneficial, but not required.
