Listen Up is an original musical inspired, written and performed by VT teens based on listening sessions with 800+ teens from across the state. The show goes to the heart of current youth issues, including: mental health, resilience, racial justice, sexual identity, friendship, love, family, social justice, COVID, climate change, and the future. Performances toured the state last summer and now screenings of the movie recording are being shown in this area!
This is a free event that is open to anyone, however, there are mature themes and it is likely most appropriate for 12+.
Light snacks and childcare will be provided.
Event Outline
6:00-6:30 Doors open, light refreshments offered
6:30-8:00 Movie screening
8:00-8:30 Q & A with the actors and short discussion
