Welcome Bianka!

We are thrilled to introduce the newest member of our team, Bianka Çimrin, who has accepted the position of Associate Director. Some may already know Bianka from when she served as Burlington’s Ward 7 City Councilor and as the first immigrant woman member of the Council.

Bianka’s alignment with BPHC’s work and mission was a clear fit given her passion for and experience in public service and healthcare. Prior to joining BPHC, she served as a former Field Care Manager and Director of Training and Development at an area home-care agency. She holds her Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University, where she has been invited to teach on the topic of Emotional Intelligence. She has expertise in policy development and organizational leadership which extends into her private consulting and volunteer work. Bianka is looking forward to contributing to BPHC’s efforts to bring together diverse groups of stakeholders addressing substance prevention and championing prevention-centered solutions.

In her free time, Bianka enjoys exploring Vermont with her husband and their daughter, as well as her hobby of crafting with driftwood.

Bianka is already fast at work helping us prepare for our first in-person Roots of Prevention Community Awards Celebration since 2019! Bianka can be reached at biankaatburlingtonpartnershipdotorg. She looks forward to building new relationships and connecting with you on behalf of our coalition.
