Sam Donnelly & Sierra Serino Join BPHC Board of Advisors

BPHC is proud and excited to welcome two new members to our Board of Advisors: Sam Donnelly and Sierra Serino.

Sam brings a community-focused perspective to his role on the BPHC Board. With a background in Community & International Development from UVM, he currently serves as Deputy Director of the Burlington Business Association (BBA), working on urban development and public health initiatives. His previous work with Let's Grow Kids and Planned Parenthood has given him valuable experience in early childhood education and reproductive health advocacy. Through these roles, Sam has developed an understanding of how policy and community engagement can shape public health outcomes.

Sierra first joined BPHC through UVM’s Public Health Master’s program in 2022. She shared  that since then, "I have felt drawn to this organization and the people that do this important preventative work. The education and resources provided by BPHC are invaluable to the Burlington community, and lend a hand in shaping community culture around substance use and wellness. By promoting protective factors that support healthy lifestyles, supporting strategies that impact policies, systems and the community environment, and bridging community stakeholders, BPHC serves  as a vital advocate for community health."

Thank you Sam and Sierra for stepping up for prevention and joining our Board of Advisors.
